AN IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT CHANGES TO METHODS OF PAYMENT FOR MAKING COPIES AT THE LAW LIBRARY AND STATE COURT CLERK’S OFFICE

The Anchorage Bar Association is replacing all the copiers and the coin-op/value add card payment options and the Copitrak system in the Law Library at 303 K Street and the State Court Clerk’s Office at 825 West 4th Avenue with an all cash system.

If you/your law firm/government agency presently have a Copitrak account with the Anchorage Bar Association and access the copiers via a PIN number and account, this Copitrak system will no longer be available after December 31, 2010.

If you presently have a vend/debit card that you purchased at the Law Library or State Court Clerk’s Office, these old cards will be obsolete after December 31, 2010 and will not work in the new payment units, so  we encourage you to exhaust the value on those cards before December 31, 2010.

After January 1, 2011, you will need to buy a new card from the dispenser unit or use cash/coins/dollar bills in the new copiers.

Please advise your law office administrators of this change and have them contact us with any questions.  We apologize for the inconvenience during the transition.
