The Anchorage Bar Association is an organization governed solely by
its own membership. Thus, the individuals who serve on the Board of
Directors for the Anchorage Bar Association are members who have typically
been elected to three year staggered terms, with elections held at
the annual meeting in December. In addition, each year the President
of the Young Lawyers Section of the Anchorage Bar Association serves
as a voting director on the Board.
The Board reflects the strong diversity in ages, practices, and employers
that the membership of the Anchorage Bar Association represents. To
